Quote(s) of the Day: "I've had eight on the line and two in the net in the first twenty minutes. That's pretty good huh!"

Fishing Highlights:

Today was a kids day on South Boulder Creek. Dylan brought his friend Matthew up for a day of fly fishing. The fish were really active all morning which kept the kids busy hooking and landing fish. Dylan was the first to stick a fish within the first five minutes and matthew followed with eight hookups and two to the net. As we made our way up river we found fish in every hole. Dylan and Matthew had a double just before lunch which made for an awesome photo. After lunch we were back at it. The hookups stayed consistent with some nice trout. Dylan landed a 22" Rainbow and Matthew had a monster on for a short lived period. It was great to see two younger kids out enjoying what Colorado has to offer.

The fishing is fantastic.  Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 52-55 degrees and Crystal Clear.
