Quote(s) of the Day: It's amazing that we got to fish almost every style of rig and catch fish on all of them!

Fishing Highlights:

The day started off how a technical tailwater fishes - small flies, small tippet and lots of rig change-ups. We got a lot of looks and lots of denials - it seemed the fish were just a little slow and I think the water temp needed to come a few degrees. Luckily, water flows have increased which can be a really positive thing mid summer. After lunch I had Si set up on a triple nymph rig while Logan fished a modified drop shot rig under a chubby. They guys were able to fish different types of water, staying close by while targeting multiple types of fish behavior. The other two rods were rigged with a tandem dry fly rig and streamer rig. Long story short, the fishing in the afternoon lit up - the guys consistently caught fish on all 4 styles of rigs and were able to really fine tune different techniques. Si had the reach mend cast dialed and Logan learned advanced streamer strategies. Always helps when every 10 minutes you're rewarded with a 16"-20" ballistic trout. Thanks guys!

The fishing is great.  Overcast skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 52-55 degrees and Crystal Clear.
