Quote(s) of the Day: I'm done playing now.. this has been a blast with the streamers

Fishing Highlights:

Today the morning was pretty tough. The fish didn't seem interested in anything we were throwing at them. John wanted to work on some different styles of casting and euro nymphing today so we used the time to work on those and try to get the fish to eat. John did hook a couple and we lost them after a short battle. The afternoon was a different story though, as we had a few Green Drakes hatch as well as some yellow sallys and PMDs. The fish were definently looking up and we took advantage netting a few fish. Our best fish of the day came on a streamer set up though. John wanted to learn about streamer fishing in a river, so we used the rest of the afternoon to do that. It was very productive and we had lots of chases, quiet a few eats and hooked and landed some really nice fish. The afternoon turned out to be very different than the morning and made up for our lack of action early.

The fishing is good.  Partly Cloudy skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 56-59 degrees and Crystal Clear.
