Quote(s) of the Day: I think I'm ready to retire and fish everyday!

Fishing Highlights:

The morning started off a brisk 45 degrees with slow moving trout feeding reluctantly on midges. We changed flies frequently between small beatis, midge pupa and various soft hackles. Each run produced several strikes and at least one fish at the end of line; covering water and fishing thoroughly proved the best morning tactic. Greg worked the pocket water through the main ranch, picking up a few nice bows and a handful of browns. Within about an hour Bob landed his first trout ever on the fly rod - a huge highlight! By 11am the yellow sally and pmd hatch started to come off. We switched to dry droppers and started to enjoy much more eager, aggressive fish. Sean caught a really nice solid brown trout with a hooked jaw - very cool to see. The afternoon provided even better fishing - there were several double ups and perhaps the best part was how good the streamer fishing became. Sean hook an absolute monster that will haunt him forever! Bob also caught a few pigs on the swing!

The fishing is great.  Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 48-51 degrees and Crystal Clear.
