Lots of fishes and even more laughs down on Boulder River Ranch

Fishing Highlights:

What a beautiful day to be on the river! Ruth had never fished before but she didn't waste any time by catching two fish before any of the guys had a single bite! Dieter was the next to get on the board, and boy was it a beauty, when he hooked into a beautiful 16" rainbow with a pink San Juan worm. David had consistent action all day long and was one cutthroat shy of the grand slam-- he landed a brookie, rainbow, and brown trout all by lunchtime. As good as the fishing was, the company was even better! Spending time with friends at Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing Club really is a special experience and I'm glad I was able to be a part of such a wonderful group. Took three out in the morning and another (from Matty's group) in the afternoon. Taught the groups how to nymph, and set the hook. Also talked about the history of the property, plant and wildlife. Marie, Marj and Will did a great job in the morning and learned a ton about fly fishing. Will exceeded my expectations with learning how to swing a nymph. Chris learned how to euro nymph in the afternoon and caught 30 fish in a few hrs. Had a great time and look forward to fishing with all of you again!

The fishing is good.  Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 56-59 degrees and Crystal Clear.
