Quote(s) of the Day: That was a huuuge fish!

Fishing Highlights:

The morning session was surprisingly good - Bill hooked a monster right off the bat that quickly snapped the line and another six that taught us a hard lesson on setting the hook hah! We got into the groove with soft hackles and eventually landed several healthy hard fighting fish. The afternoon weather abruptly changed and Dan and I went to streamers in hopes of river monsters. Dan picked off curious fish throughout the afternoon but they definitely required diligent fly selection and presentation. The last cast of the day was cool; a downstream chuck-and-duck and bang a big rainbow slammed the two toned custom tied bugger.

The fishing is good.  Overcast skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 44-47 degrees and Crystal Clear.
