Quote(s) of the Day: I thought fly fishing would be gross and boring!!
This place is beautiful!

Fishing Highlights:

After a short introduction to casting, and a brief overview of the equipment and water, Michelle and Danielle were ready to start fishing. The first hole could only fit one person, so it was Michelle’s turn to fish first. After being shown where the fish were,, she made a perfect presentation on her first cast, and set the hook on a beautiful native rainbow trout. She released the fish and it was Danielle’s turn to fish. With similar instruction from the guide, Danielle also made a perfect presentation on her first cast. She set the hook on a beautiful wild brown trout, and landed it perfectly. Two fish, two casts! You can’t beat it!What great day on South Boulder Creek! Noah set up a family getaway on the water and it was a total success. The weather was excellent and not to mention the fish were on the feed! We focused on the bigger pools with better access. We started off by throwing the indicator rig which proved to be a successful approach. We caught 3 nice fish out of one spot. We moved up and searched for pocket water with an hopper dropper rig and began to catch fish on top! With just a half day we decided to explore a bit while making our way back to the car. All in all a great day on the water with awesome people!

The fishing is great.  Clear skies and 52-55 degree weather. The water temperature was between 40-43 degrees and Crystal Clear.
