Fishing Highlights:

Trip went excellent the lake played a little difficult at first but we got it done ! We ran the faithful hopper dropper and made the best of the wind and rolled the indicator aaround deeper holes. Leaches and chronomids were the ticket for the few fish we ran into. The fishing was great. KC landed some really healthy rainbows. Blue bird day on Lincoln Hills. Flows are looking great and the river is starting to clear up. The weather was beautiful but the fishing was even better! There is no better place in Colorado than Lincoln Hills to catch a large trout!Getting a 4 year old girl on a fish!casting lessons, knot detangles, caught and landed fish. Great times for allCarter landed two fish over 20”. One was 23-24” and 7+ pounds.Lincoln Hills is such an amazing place. An amazing day spent in the outdoors. The weather was nearly perfect a little breezy but otherwise perfect. Got to hang out with some really great kids and witness them enjoying nature. Great day! Some of the best parts of the day were perfect weather, clear water, and huge trout. Lots of fishing was done and everyone had a great time!

The fishing is fantastic.  Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 44-47 degrees and Crystal Clear.
