Fishing Conditions: FAIR

Fishing Trip Date: Thursday, Nov 30, 2017

Quote(s) of the Day: Wow! It's cold this morning. I thought slushies were from 7-11.
Fishing Highlights:
It was a very chilly morning here at Lincoln hills today. The temp outside read 21 degrees and the river was definitely reflective of that as well. It was very slushy this morning with some thicker shelf ice built along the edges. Fishing was tough in the morning as the water was to slushy to get your flies through and into the water. After the sun had hit the river in the afternoon, some of the slush subsided so running a European style nymph rig was tried in some of the spots where the sun had been hitting the water. Overall it was a beautiful day to be up here and enjoying the weather and catch up a couple fish. The fishing is fair. Clear skies and 44-47 degree weather. The water temperature was between 32-35 degrees and Crystal Clear.
