Fishing Highlights:

What a phenomenal day it was up on Lincoln Hills today. The sun was out and the fish were on the feed bag. Kirk and Bob landed several fish in the morning hours with the fish obviously feeding heavily getting ready for winter as some of the fish we caught had some big bellies on them. We landed mostly rainbows in the morning hours with Bob's last fish being a feisty little brown. After lunch it was back to it. The fish seemed to be in down mode right away but we managed to get few fish to net. Bob set his sights on a huge rainbow and got her to eat but quickly broke us off! We had some good laughs and some great fish in the afternoon. Thanks for a fun day guys!

The lower flows and clear water means it’s time for smaller flies, longer leaders, and lighter tippets.  Make sure to not expose yourself too much in an effort to avoid spooking fish. The fish are beginning to stack up. Concentrate your efforts on the river’s riffles and deep long holes. The water is looking good and is flowing low and clear. With the nice weather there is still ample opportunity for good days on the water. The sight fishing has been great.  The fishing is great.  Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 44-47 degrees and Crystal Clear.
