Quote(s) of the Day: First Cast.....First Fish!!

Fishing Highlights:

The flows bumped down from yesterday to 440CFS and it had the moving and feeding. Armand's first cast was a hookup on a beautiful 20" Cuttbow which made for an awesome start to a beautiful day. We worked the deeper slower water throughout the day which produce the majority of the fish. In the morning hours we landed some really nice fish with some great colors. The afternoon were finding it hard to find soft enough water up in the canyon on the side we were fishing to produce fish but we buckled down and waded out far enough to reach the far side with a cast and a good enough drift which produced some nice fish. As we were walking back to the cart Armand wanted to find one last piece of water that would end the day with a bang and we did just that with another 20" Cuttbow to net. When we went to take a picture the fish flopped us and away we went. Armand said "That's okay, I'll catch him in a couple years when he is 26"!

The fishing is great.  Clear skies and 52-55 degree weather. The water temperature was between 36-39 degrees and Slightly Off.
