Quote(s) of the Day: It's so amazing up here!
This is the sexiest thing I've seen in a while!

Fishing Highlights:

What a day! I met with Jim and June today, to fish S. Boulder Creek. Jim had fished the creek on previous visits, but today would be June's first time. June had her first fish in the net within five minutes of fishing. A nice 15" rainbow. Not to be out done Jim landed a nice 18" bow, just moments later. The morning continued on like this, not every fish fish made it to the net, but by lunch we had 10 fish to hand. After lunch we got back at it, we moved from hopper dropper rigs and went to indicator rigs. June landed a nice 18" bow then just a few casts later she landed the big fish of the day, a 22" bow. It was an amazing day spent on the water. Couples like Jim and June are the reason I enjoy my job so much. Hope to see the two of you real soon.Landon wanted to bring his wife Aubrey out to Lincoln hills to show her what fly fishing was all about. Well let me tell you, Aubry was a natural! This girl was fishy from the beginning but with a little instruction she was catching fish and understanding why in no time! Landon new what he was doing and went off on his own, but every time I looked at him his rod was bent and fish were jumping! We fished the Steps and Lincoln hills beats today with perfect weather and active fish! I cant wait to fish with this amazing couple again in the future!

The lower flows and clear water means it’s time for smaller flies, longer leaders, and lighter tippets.  Our professional fly fishing guides suggest fishing an egg pattern (size 16) dropped down to a mayfly imitation such as a pheasant tail (size 18). The dry fly fishing has been fantastic. Dry and dropper rigs are fooling a lot of fish. The water is looking good and is flowing low and clear. With the nice weather there is still ample opportunity for good days on the water. The sight fishing has been great.  The fishing is fantastic.  Clear skies and 60+ degree weather. The water temperature was between 56-59 degrees and Crystal Clear.
