Quote of the Day: After landing his third fish in four casts, a Rainbow 25" 6+lb Lester Holt - "Either you're a really great guide or this is a really good river." Guide responds "Maybe a little bit of both."
Note: Although it is never easy to catch fish on cue, Lester an Amy, hosts of NBC's Weekend Today Show proved up to the task. We had a wonderful day of fishing landing a number of trout over 5 pounds. Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing Club is without question the best fishery on Colorado's Front Range and continues to establish itself as one of the best trout fisheries anywhere in the world.

Partly Cloudy skies and 52-55 degree weather, just another day on the water. The water temperature was between 40-43 degrees and Slightly Off. Lights Camera Action... Can you catch fish on cue? The best way to make sure your trip is full of action is to join The Flyfisher Guide Service at Lincoln Hills Fly Fishing Club. Many fish in the 5 to 10 pound range have been hooked and landed.  Big fish are the story of the day with numerous fish in the 4 to 6 pound class being released on every trip.  Look for fish holding in the deep pools and runs in the early part of the day and moving into the riffles as the day warms.  There are many fish to be sure on this section.  Come prepared to be tested with the most fish you have ever hooked in one day.  The new river improvements are complete and there is more holding water than ever.  There have been lots of fish over 20" hooked.  The water is looking good and the fish are feeding.  The fishing is great.
