Fred Gray - Pro Staff Fly Fishing Guide

Fred Gray, our 2006 Guide of the Year, has been fishing Colorado waters his entire life. A true Colorado native he began fly-fishing in 1971 on the South Platte near Deckers with a $12 South Bend Spin/Fly combo rod. Fred has seen many changes in the world of fly-fishing in both the gear and the techniques. Over the years he has developed and continues to polish his uncanny ability to find feeding fish. Fred is a guide who loves to hook people up and truly gets a kick out of helping his clients catch fish. It is Fred’s ability to share his fishing knowledge with others that keeps him on the top of the guiding profession.
