Fly Fish 101 “Introduction to Fly Fishing” $100
This course is a 3-night indoor hands on seminar for beginning fly fishers. In this course, you will learn the basics of fish identification and characteristics, equipment, knots, fly selection, and casting. Bring a notebook and pen/pencil.

Fly Fish 102 “Learn to Fly Fish in One Day” $195
This course is an all inclusive, 6-hour interactive workshop for beginner fly fishers and includes actual stream time,
classes will be held on one of our many Blue Ribbon/Gold Medal trout streams. In this course, you will learn about fish identification, equipment, and knots, entomology related to fly selection, casting, fighting, landing, and safely releasing a fish. This course combines class time (in our classroom) and field time, where you get to put what you have learned into immediate action under our supervision. You will be rigging your own rod, tying knots, casting, fighting and landing fish on one of our premier Colorado trout streams. All equipment is provided, but you can bring your own if you wish. Drinks served.

Fly Fish 201 “Fly Fishing Skills and Techniques” $195
This course is an all-inclusive, 7-hour interactive workshop for novice and intermediate fly fishers and includes more field time than the 102 course. Class will be held on one of our many Blue Ribbon/Gold Medal trout streams
. In this course, you will have a brief review of the basics. Class will then go to the water where you will spend time on casting and presentation to fish in the river and/or pond. You will take time to work on dry fly fishing, nymph fishing, and streamer fishing. All equipment is provided, but you can bring your own if you wish. Lunch and drinks served.

Fly Fish 301 “Dry Fly Fishing” $225
This course is an all-inclusive, 7-hour interactive workshop for novice through advanced fly fishers and is designed to increase your knowledge and ability to fish dry flies. The Dry Fly Fishing class will cover topics such as trout habitat, hatching insects related to fly selection, equipment setup, casting and presentation. We will also include strategies for “cracking the code” while fishing in difficult dry fly situations. Classes will be held at one of our private ranch locations within an hour of the city.

Fly Fish 401 “Colorado Nymph Fishing” $250
This course is an all-inclusive, 7-hour interactive workshop for novice through advanced fly fishers and is designed to increase your knowledge and ability to fish nymphs. The Nymph Fishing class will cover topics such as trout habitat, insect availability and activity, fly selection, equipment setup, casting and presentation. We will show you how to set up and fish a 1, 2, and 3 fly rig. We will also include strategies for “cracking the code” while nymphing in difficult situations. Classes will be held at one of our private ranch locations within an hour of the city.

Kids Fishing 101 “Kids Fish Camp” $100
This course is designed for kids ages 3-15 and their parents. We get together and have fun through educational activities focused on fishing. Whether they are painting fish tee shirts, learning about different insects, tying knots, learning to identify different fish, or reeling them in it will be fun and informative as parents help their kids get hooked on fishing. Lunch and drinks are not provided. Space is limited so please book your reservation in advance. $100/Family up to 3 children or $30/child for 4 or more.
Fly Fishing For Youth “Learn to Fly Fish in One Day for Youth” $175
Virtually the same as our Fly Fish 102 course, but geared towards youth ages 8-15.

Fly Fish Guide “Fly Fishing Guide School” $1200
This course is designed to make industry quality guides out of advanced anglers. If you want to be a guide, or just fish like one, this is the course for you. This five-day course will prepare you for all aspects of being a guide on the Front Range. Lunch and drinks provided. Students are expected to provide their own equipment and flies.

Fly Fish 500 “A Fly Fishing Weekend” Details coming in 2009
This all inclusive class will immerse you in the world of fly fishing for two whole days while you learn and practice every aspect of fly fishing for trout in the breathtaking Colorado Rockies.
Fly Tying - B “Fly Tying for Beginners” $199
Designed to give you a basic understanding of fly tying tools and techniques. This class is a must for anybody interested in getting into fly tying. The course is laid out into 4 separate 2 hour classes, meeting once a week for a month. Students will tie a variety of flies including dries, nymphs, and streamers. All tools and materials are provided.

Fly Tying – I “Intermediate Fly Tying” $55/session
This course focuses on second level techniques and patterns. Learn how to tie parts of a fly that carry over into hundreds of patterns like parachutes, hair wings, soft hackles, and rubber legs. This class will also focus on teaching you the proper use of tools like rotary vices, whip finishers, and dubbing loop tools. All materials provided, bring your vice and tools. (4 student minimum)
Fly Tying – A “Advanced Fly Tying” $55/session
This course focuses on upper level techniques and patterns. Learn how to tie with epoxy, stack and spin deer hair, weave floss, etc. This class will equip you to tie thousands of flies for trout, salmon, warm water, and saltwater species. All materials provided, bring your vice and tools. (4 student minimum)
Casting 101 “Personal and Small Group Casting Lessons”
$55/hr + $30/hr for each additional student
Whether you are a beginner or have been fishing for years there is only one way to improve your cast…have somebody watch! We will help you tighten your loops, dial in your accuracy, add distance, or teach you different types of casts. These classes are tailor made for you and your needs. Call to set up a place and time for your class session.
Entomology 101 “Bugs for Beginners" $125
Entomology 101: Trout Food - Where they live, how they behave and why the trout eat them. This class begins in our classroom and covers insect classification, lifecycle and behavior. Part two of this course involves collecting and sorting the actual insects. This course is designed to add to your knowledge of what fish are eating in and on the water.
